Tsmoki Minsk Earn Second Win in FIBA Europe Cup

A huge fourth-quarter lifted Tsmoki-Minsk to a 97-88 road win over Rilski Sportist on 3 November.

The Belarusian team moved to 2-0 at the top of Group N in the FIBA Europe Cup. Grabbing the initiative at the start of the game, the Belarusian champions relaxed after the big break and allowed the hosts to retake the lead 69-65. The Dragons switched on again in the final quarter to earn a deserved victory. Anthony Hilliard led his team with 21 points. Tsmoki Minsk made a good start at the FIBA Europe Cup handing Komarno a heavy 90-68 defeat on 27 October.

The Minsk Dragons next play against Finland's Kataja Basket Joensuu on their home ground on 11 November. Games in 14 groups of four teams will be over on 2 December. In the Round of 32, the first and second best teams from the regular season will play in groups of four. Starting from the Last 16 playoffs, quarterfinals will be played. The tournament will conclude with a Final Four.
