Russia to supply 12 Mi-17 helicopters to Belarus

Russia and Belarus signed a contract for the delivery of 12 Mi-17 helicopters during the international defense technology expo IDEX 2015 in the United Arab Emirates.

The information was released by Sergei Chemezov, head of the Russian state corporation Rostec, BelTA has learned.

“As far as the expo is concerned, yesterday we signed a contract with Belarusians for the delivery of 12 Mi-17 helicopters,” said Sergei Chemezov.

The executive specified that the contract was signed by the holding company Russian Helicopters, which is part of Rostec. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
