Aliaksandr Lukashenka will pay a visit to Kazakhstan on March 19-20.

BelaPAN learnt it from the dictator's spokesperson Natallia Eismant.

According to her, heads of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will have a trilateral meeting in Astana on March 20.

“I think joint ways of overcoming negative tendencies in the economy will be discussed,” Eismant said.

The trilateral meeting was scheduled for March 13 in Astana. Kazakhstan officially announced it on March 9. The presidents of the three countries planned to discuss issues of strengthening trade relations and economic cooperation between the countries, trends in the global economy and the situation in Ukraine.

It was announced on March 11 that the meeting was postponed by several days. The information came from a diplomatic source in Kazakhstan. It was later confirmed by Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to unofficial information, the meeting was postponed due to the Russian president's illness, but the Kremlin does not confirm it officially.
