State debt increased by Br42.6 tn since beginning of the year

As of March 1, the state debt of Belarus is 240.1 trillion rubles.

It has grown by 42.6 trilloin rubles, or by 21.6%, since the beginning of the year. Charter97.org website was informed about that by the Ministry of Finance.

As of Mach 1, the external state debt was $12.4 billion, it has decreased since the beginning of the year by $161.6 million, or by 1.3% (considering the exchange rate differences).

In January-February 2015 external state loans of $77.1 million were raised: $38.4 million from the government of Russia; $40.7 million from banks of China; $1.6 million from the IBRD.

Repayment of the external state debt since the beginning of the year 2015 was equal to $110.8 million: $50.0 million to the government of Russia; $60.8 million to banks of China.

The internal government debt, as of March 1, 2015, was 55.1 trillion rubles. It has grown since the beginning of the year by 6.8 trillion rubles, or by 14.0% (considering the exchange rate differences).

In January-February 2015 sovereign bonds for legal entities were placed for a sum equal to $88 million. Since the beginning of the year currency and ruble bonds for individuals and legal entities for $112.5 milllion and 430 billion rubles were paid off.
