Obama extended sanctions against Russia for a year

The United States of America extended a number of restrictive measures against the Russian Federation for one year due to the escalation of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

The press service of the White House announced that the relevant decision was made by President Barack Obama, Censor.NET reports citing UNN.

According to the report, the full range of restrictive measures imposed by the U.S. government against the Russian Federation last year is meant.

Recall, the U.S., the EU and several other countries have imposed sanctions against Russia first through Russia's annexation of Crimea and then due to Moscow's role in the escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
