Concert of Pamidorau and Dzianisau held in Hrodna despite a ban

2

More than 50 people came to listen to rock musicians Aliaksandr Dzianisau and Aliaksandr Pamidorau.

Their concert must take place in a Hrodna synagogue. After the igeologists' call the event is questionable. On the evening of April 12 another place- the yard art-gallery Kryha was found, Radio Racyja reports.

Aliaksandr Dzianisau sang songs written by Ales Chobat, most of them sounded for the first time for Hrodna public. Aliaksandr Pamidorau introduced songs in Belarusian and Yiddish.

"It seems to me we had a success. People were in a positive mood with smiles on their faces. I was afraid someone could come and ban the concert. Then we would have gone into the gallery with a little space for us. Thank God the ideologies did not come with the idea to arrive and arrest everybody", Aliaksandr Dzianisau said.

The musicians performed about fifty different songs, and the song "Black bread and tea", translated a few years ago by Aliaksandr Pamidorau from Polish. They performed it together with the audience.
