There will be more propaganda on TV

The Ministry of Information has supported the initiative of creating a regional TV channel Belarus 4.

It was said by the head of the electronic mass media department of the Ministry of Trade Uladzimir Yadrentsau on April 15 at a press-conference in Minsk, dedicated to development of digital TV, BelaPAN informs.

“The Ministry of Information has supported the initiative of the National State TV and Radio Company to create a regional TV channel Belarus 4. It is to become not just another TV channel. There will be a regional TV channel in each region now, but they are to be united by one name, Belarus 4,” Yadrentsau said.

As said by him, at the moment it is necessary to care about each small regional TV company, so that none of them would “take the sideline” in transition to a digital television, and all who are registered would be able to work most efficiently.

Launching of Belarus 4 TV channel would allow uniting all such organisations and TV channels, and “it is to do lots of good,” the representative of the Ministry of Information believes.
