BCD to take the fifth attempt to register the party

It is planned to hold constituent meeting of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party in Minsk on June 13.

The BCD Organizing Committee addressed the heads of 13 institutions of the capital to provide them with room for the meeting. The press service of the Organizing Committee informed charter97.org.

In particular, the requests are directed to DK MAZ, the Youth variety theatre, Central House of Officers, the Palace of Culture of Railway, DK MTZ, the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic, Minsk International Study Center, Renaissance hotel, a concert hall in Matusevicha Street, House of writers, and the Republican Art Gallery in Kazlova 3.

"We do it in advance to avoid responses that a place is already busy, Dzianis Sadouski, the Executive Secretary of the BCD said. - Simultaneously we will exert pressure through Western partners so that the authorities could allow the meeting. This is the fifth attempt to register the BCD."

The first constituent meeting was held in 2009, two more - in 2010. The last unsuccessful attempt to register the organization was undertaken more than three years ago, the fourth constituent meeting was held on December 17, 2011.
