Industrial output in Belarus decreased by 7.3%

Over the two months of 2015 the production output has decreased by 7.3% as compared to the same period of the year 2014 and was equal to Br172.6 trillion.

It is informed by the statistical report of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.

Decrease of industrial production, as of the end of January, was 6.2%, and 5.8% in January-February.

In March 2015 industrial production growth was 5.7% (month-to-month) and decreased by 10.3% on an annualized basis.

The decline in the mining industry was 4.4% in January-March. The processing industry’s decline was 8.3% in January-March 2015. Electricity, gas and water industry has fallen by 1.5%.
