NATO’s policy towards Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine will be one of the main topics of discussion at the next NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting.

It will be held in Turkey on May 13-14, 2015.

This was announced by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry at a meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Washington, Russian news agency RIA Novosti has reported.

"It is necessary to provide a basis for our assessment of NATO's priorities. And one of those priorities is Russian aggression against Ukraine," Kerry said.

Another priority he called "the danger posed by the extremists from south [of Turkey]."

Kerry said that he intends to participate in the meeting in Antalya, which is expected to take place on May 13-14.
