The scandalous motorcycle ride of the Night Wolves was received in Belarus at the highest level.

The Russian bikers were welcomed by officials from Aliaksandr Lukashenka's administration, the authorities of the Minsk region and members of BRSM pro-governmental youth organisation. The Night Wolves crossed the Belarusian border on April 26. The visited Khatyn and the Mount of Glory memorial. They will try to enter the European Union today, BelaPAN reports.

ONT TV showed deputy head of Lukashenka's administration Ihar Buzouski in Kontury programme, in a news story about visiting the Mound of Glory in the Smaliavichy district by the Russian bikers.

“I hope the guys travel through Belarus and other countries with the notions of peace, kindness and constructive efforts. This work, I call it work, this campaign is a hard work. The work to educate the young generation, educate people who maybe begin to forget what the Great Victory is. This work is needed and will be needed for many years,” the official told journalists.

Not only Buzouski but also representatives of the Minsk regional authorities and BRSM members met the Night Wolves at the Mound of Glory.

A representative of the Russian embassy will control the crossing of the Belarusian-Polish border in Brest by the bikers, head of the ride “Victory Roads. Moscow – Berlin” Andrei Bobrovsky said to journalists. According to him, the diplomat will record all possible violations on the border.

Bobrovsky noted that the Belarusian authorities didn't create any obstacles for the bikers on their way from Moscow to the Mound of Glory. The group moved at a speed of 110-120 km/h accompanied by road police cars.

Members of Putin-backed motorcycle club Night Wolves announced a ride from Moscow to Berlin through Minsk, Brest, Wroclaw, Brno, Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, Munich and other European cities from April 25 to May 9 on the 70th anniversary of the victory of fascism. The club's leader Alexander Zaldostanov, who initiated the Antimaidan movement, is banned entry into the EU.

The plans of Russian bikers provoked a negative reaction in the countries they are going to visit.

On April 24, the Polish MFA sent a note to Russia's Embassy in Warsaw, in which it denied entry to Poland to a group of Russian bikers, according to Internet sources.
