Lukashenka's favorite sanatorium loses the action against Sochi builders

The Directorate of Lukashenka's Administration must pay $1.2 compensation to the contractor.

Three-year lawsuit between ГУ sanatorium "Belarus" (Krasnaya Polyana), subsidiary of the Lukashenka's Administration, and New City - Manufacturing Technology (Sochi construction company) is over, Zautra Tvaie Krainy writes.

The Arbitration Court of the North Caucasus District did not satisfy the motion of the state institution "Sanatorium Belarus" for review the case "upon discovery of new facts" and upheld all previous court decisions that the Belarusian tried to put in issue.

Cooperation of the sanatorium "Belarus" and the "New City - Manufacturing Technology" started in 2006 after signing a contract to perform design and surveys on reconstruction, top-to-bottom renovation and the construction of facilities. Collaborative work lasted 5 years. The conflict arose in 2011 when the Belarusian side, without paying off the whole sum, repudiated the contract. For that moment the customer's debt was about 1.06 million Russian rubles. During 2011 as part of the additional task from the sanatorium Russians developed a new design estimates, but were not paid money.

Last March the Arbitration Court of Krasnodar Krai on the claim of the company decided to collect in its favor 62.3 million Russian rubles: 55.3 million as payment for work and 7 million - interest for the use of this money in 2012-2014.

At the end of the last year the directorate of the presidential administration tried to put the decision in issue having turned to the 15th Arbitration Appeal Court in Rostov-on-Don. But the attempt failed.

This March the Belarusian side insisted to review the case "upon discovery of new facts". However, the Arbitration Court of North Caucasus District did not satisfy the motion. The Directorate of the Lukashenka's Administration is subject to pay off the compensation to Russian builders.
