Some injured after firework falls into crowd in Hrodna

A firework fell into the crowd in Hrodna during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory Day. Three persons were injured.

There are no official press releases so far. The Emergency Ministry reported about the incident in the morning, Hrodna-based blog s13 informed, but the report was later deleted. As onliner.by learnt from the press service of the Hrodna department of the Emergency Ministry. The information was sent to the Instigation Committee. The Committee confirmed that three persons sough medical care after the fireworks.

According to Siarhei Sharshanevich, an official representative of the Hrodna department of the Investigation Committee, three Hrodna residents needed medical help after the incident.

“They say small particles of the pyrotechnic charge got into their eyes. Doctors examined them. A girl, who was born in 1996, was taken to hospital. We carry out an inquiry to figure out details of the incident. A legal evaluation will be given after the inquiry,” Siarhei Sharshanevich said.

According to s13 readers, fireworks were released lower than usual. One of the fireworks failed to reach the required height and fell into the crowd. An ambulance arrived. Two persons were treated and released on site, but a girl got a serious burn. The probability of preserving sight on one eye is very low.
