Belarusians and Ukrainians claim to release Silivonchyk

Solidarity action with accused Belarusian in Russia took place in Warsaw.

Belarusians and Ukrainians of Warsaw held the action. They brought the images of Kiryl Silivonchyk, the Deputy of Verkhovna Rada Nadezhda Savchenko,director Oleg Sentsov, and the head of the Ukrainian People's Self-Defence organization Nikolai Karpyuk to the Russian Embassy, Radio Racyja reports.

- It is a shame to imprison a person the way it happened with Kiryl Silivonchyk, Viachaslau Siuchyk, the leader of Together organization and one of the action organizers said. In fact, he is a victim of the Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Russia tightens the crews for a reason. Putin and his propaganda have to lie. And instead of telling the truth they held repressions in Russia. Russian citizens, as well as Silivonchyk, were charged of the same crimes. Every day the Empire is getting more cruel.

It should be reminded that Moscow District Military Court found 22-year-old Homel resident Kiryl Silivonchyk guilty under Article “Public justification of terrorism and public calls for it." He posted on his Vkontakte page a call for solidarity with Ukraine and joint fight with the Russian terrorist threat. For this reason he was sentenced to two years in a penal settlement. Kiryl Silivonchyk is serving a sentence in the territory of Russia.
