Mikashevichy activist is likely to be tried for leaflets

An activist of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada) Vital Kalinouski will be tried for pasting up posters with portraits of political prisoners.

The police detained him in Mikashevichy (Brest region) on May 26, about 3.20 pm close to the bus station and took him to the municipal police department. There he gave explanations, was seized six leaflets and drawn up a protocol under Article 21.14, paragraph 2 of the AC. About two hours later, Vital Kalinouski was released, BelaPAN writes.

"I voluntarily gave away the remained leaflets. It coincided with the trial of Yury Rubtsou on May 27 in the Pruzhany District Court.
