A performance dedicated to slavery ordinance No.3 was held in Minsk.
Charter97.org learnt it from Minsk residents.
Monuments to a plumber and utility worker in Karastayanava and Karol Streets in Minsk were “protesting” against the scandalous ordinance. The monuments held posters “They took my job and call me a social parasite. Thanks to ordinance No3” and “Where's my job? Where's my salary? How should I feed my family?” in their hands.
“The protest was caused by the government's new ill-conceived decision and the ineffective economic policy that leads to mass dismissals after the adoption of the slavery law, while university graduates cannot find a proper job and have to work as street cleaners,” organisers explain.
