Bit-Bank revoked a licence

The Board of the National Bank decided to revoke a license to conduct banking activities of OAO "Bit-Bank".

The decision was based on results of due diligence, indicating a high risk of its activities and poor management, as well as failure of OAO Bit-Bank to comply with licensing requirements to the bank's regulatory capital, the lack of clear prospects for its acceleration, on violation of other requirements of banking legislation that could lead to a threat to interests of depositors and other bank creditors. The press service of the National Bank informed charter97.org.

In the banking system of the Republic of Belarus ЗАО Bit-Bank takes 27th place by assets value. As of 01.05.2015, the share of bank's assets in insignificant (0.07%). ЗАО "BIT Bank" does not provide operations related to the attraction of monetary resources of individuals.

Under Article 99 of the Banking Code of the Republic of Belarus from the moment of the revocation of a license to provide banking activities until establishment of a liquidation Committee (appointment as liquidator) or appointment as manager (crisis manager) by economic court, the bank is banned to enter new contracts and renegotiate for another term of previously concluded agreements, perform liabilities under these agreements, including transactions on bank's correspondent account, except for related to current and availability payments, redundancy payments and remuneration of persons who work under an employment agreement (contract) within the expense budget, agreed with the National Bank. It is also banned to repay money, erroneously credited to the bank's correspondent account.
