Plant of silicate products in Biaroza stops its operation

Employees of an enterprise are sent on an administrative leave with a two third pay.

The enterprise, owned by Belarusian oligarch Yury Chuzh, is filled with its production: blocks and paving slabs, Radio Racyja reports.

"All the working capital is exausted", one of the employees says.

- It is not the best time for our economy; no one can keep building up. House building in Minsk is also significantly reduced. Therefore, there are sales problems. We had to stop the line on June 26, but, perhaps, next week is to be an idle time too. Only few people are involved - repair services, guards.

Since 2011 Biaroza plant of silicate products has turned to be a loss-making enterprise. According to the core staff, the plant had a chance to recover, but it failed.
