Russian writer is displeased with patriotic mood growth in Belarus.

Zakhar Prilepn writes it on his Facebook page, commenting on an article about difference between Belarusians and Russians. "The Maidan starts from the mare's nest or How the youth of Belarus is brought up". That was the name of the article. The author gives two quotations from "What is the difference between Russians and Belarusians". 6 main differences are as follows:

"People are surprised that Belarusian cities had a Magdeburg Law, as well as their own Renaissance. We have always been a part of European culture; there was a border between Europe and Asia. We lived in the empire - Grand Duchy of Lithuania - that stretched from the Baltic to the Black Sea, but it was not the empire. Principles of nation building differed; all were united and had tolerance".

"Despite all efforts of Russian historians, for centuries the Principality of Moscow was under the yoke of the Golden Horde. Then they inherently did not free themselves from it, mentally, of course".

Zakhar Prilepin was displeased that relations between the Principality of Moscow and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania were given in Russian.

"One more time I sound my presentiment. Lukashenka, as well as Yanukovich, sincerely thinks that flirting with these violent idiots, granting them will and a word, he strengthens his power and brings up "a sovereign and national feeling". In fact, he prepares a place next to Yanukovich's summer cottage", Zakhar Prilepin writes.

It should be reminded that last October the author, famous for his chauvinism views, after the Belarus-Ukraine match, when everyone sang about Putin, proposed to invest Russia's grants in Belarus.
