Belarusian industrial production collapsed at all points

In January-May 2015 the industrial production decreased at all points of economic activity.

A regular Analysis survey of the National Bank says it, Ezhednevnik reports.

Industrial production fell at all major points; the exception is the chemical production (growth by 106.8%) and manufacture of coke, petroleum products and nuclear fuel (an increase by 101%).

Manufacturing industry has had the greatest decrease (by 8.6%). Mining industry decreased by 6.6%, energy, gas and water production and distribution - by 1.3%.

In January-April 2015 industrial output decreased by 7.7% as of the same period in 2014 (a year earlier – by 1.2%). In May 2015 stocks of finished products decreased by Br962 billions and on June 1, 2015 it equaled Br38.2 trillions.

The ratio of stocks of finished products and the average monthly output in January-May 2015 made 82% against 85.2% in the comparable period a year earlier. Production of machinery and equipment (23.3%), food products, including beverages and tobacco (21.1%), and production of vehicles and equipment (11.2%) has the largest share in stocks of finished products.
