General director of Dinamo Minsk hockey club arrested after checks by Economic Crime Department?

Maksim Subotkin is reported by the media to have been relieved of his duties and arrested.

The Criminal Crime Department came to the club with a check. It was completed last week, and a meeting of the Supervisory Board was held. As a result, Maksim Subotkin was relieved of his duties. He was later reported to have been detained, Sportivnye Novosti writes.

The general director of the hockey club, who usually attends all matches of the team, didn't appear at the latest game. According to sources, he was detained after a series of checks by the Financial Investigation Department and the Economic Crime Department, and a number of questionings of witnesses in Minsk and Babruisk, Tribuna writes.

The hockey club does not comment on the situation.

Maksim Subotkin became director of Dinamo in 2013. He had worked for Shinnik club before.
