Dinamo FC fans call to boycott matches until end of season

An appeal calling to boycott matches of Dinamo football club until the end of the 2015 season appeared on the website of fans of the Minsk-based team.

“Attention! The appeal is addressed to all sober-minded fans of our team!

We, active fans of Dinamo Minsk, have recently declared a boycott to all matches of our team in Belarus. Despite the boycott, many fans didn't stop going to the stadium. They now appear in the central stand of Tractor Stadium. This is unacceptable for every fan. The police regard all people who attend football matches in Belarus as criminals regardless of where they stand - in the stadium or near it, in the fan section, the central stand or on the famous hill near the stadium.

We call on all fans, both ultras and ordinary fans, to stop attending the stadium and guest matches until the end of 2015! You must remember and understand that you may be declared a criminal and thrown behind bars at any moment.

We'd like to appeal to our team. Guys, we are with you. We will support you under any circumstances! You should know at every match that you have a huge army of people behind you. We support you even if are not in the stadium. Hope for your understanding.

Fans of our club! Stop attending the stadium, do not allow making you a criminal! Look for comfortable places in the city to watch games! Take care of yourselves!” the appeal reads.
