Commerce Ministry on online shopping: The issue inquired into

The Ministry of Commerce refuses to give even possible date of introduction of tax on online shopping.

The Minister of Commerce Valiantsin Chakanau stated that, AFN reports.

"If we are talking about tax on online shopping, it is necessary to say that it's a huge work, first of all, of a technical aspect. Second, we should study the experience of other countries, third, to find out the number of goods imported. Today it is useless to speak about concrete terms. The issue is inquired into", the Head of the Ministry said.

Valiantsin Chakanau said that there were 16.5 thousand online shops in the country with only 1.6% of retail turnover.
