Artsyom Prakapenka to remain on file of police for 5 years

For preventive reasons law enforcing agencies have registered the former political prisoner Artsyom Prakapenka for 5 years.

Earlier his father informed that no measures of control had been applied to Artsyom, BelaPAN informs.

However, later the former political prisoner clarified that “he had been registered with the police as a person who had been released from places of detention.”

“There are no restrictions or anything else for me. But I was told that in case of any administrative offences, I would be put on preventive supervision, they have a right for that,” he stressed.

Artsyom Prakapenka was released on August 22 after Alyaksandr Lukashenka passed a decision to pardon him. On the same day other political prisoners were released: Mikalai Statkevich, Ihar Alinevich, Mikalai Dzyadok, Yauhen Vaskovich and Yury Rubtsou.
