Belarus militarizes on the border with Ukraine

Border fortification is of high priority now.

Much work has been done to develop the border: demarcation, militarization on this direction, and daily service of the State border, he said. - Current events were taken into consideration, such as proliferation of weapons, ammunition, including regions on the border with our country. In this situation our southern borders, definitely, are subject to increased control".

Acting State Secretary reminds that the state border of Belarus and Ukraine is 1084 km.

It should be reminded that military trainings have been repeatedly exercised at the border of Ukraine. Sometimes Russian soldiers were involved too. Trainings often coincided with the similar ones, exercised by the Russians at the eastern border of Ukraine.
