Dollar hits a fresh all-time high - more than Br15700

Within half of month the Belarusian currency devaluation against the dollar stood at 4%.
After currency trading on August 6 the dollar rate rose by Br141 or 0.91% and traded at Br15707. The euro increased by Br194 or 1.14% and now costs Br17119. The Russian ruble decreased by Br2.25 and now equals to Br246.12.
Since July 24 the dollar exchange rate has constantly been increasing. And it has not changed the tendency. As a result, an official rate rose from Br15108 to Br15707. Within fifteen days the devaluation stood at 4%, Nasha Niva reports.
Meanwhile, the euro increased from Br16 616 to Br17 119 6.5% devaluation).
Depreciation of the Belarusian ruble is connected with a collapse of the Russian currency. Earlier, the world oil prices continued falling. On Wednesday price for Brent oil fell to $49.08 per barrel.
In July OPEC oil production reached a maximum monthly level for the last few years. The volume may increase, if Iran fulfills its oil production plan and increase it to 500 thousand barrels after the sanctions are lifted.
