Salary of shop assistant in Salihorsk is about $120

It is about one tenth of $1000 salary, promised by the dictator for each Belarusian in 2015.

A public activist, the leader of the United Civil Party in Minsk region Viktar Malochka has posted on Facebook the payroll of his wife, a shop assistant of the 6th category at OAO Salihorskhandl, Natallya Malochka.

According to the payroll, a qualified employee of a retail network in Salihorsk, which had always had the name of a miners’ capital of Belarus and a town of high salaries, is paid about Br 2.2 million a month, salary advance included. Taking into account the latest devaluation, it is a little more than $120.

“I know that many of you are going to laugh, and many won’t believe that!!! But that’s how much a shop assistant of the 6th category in the richest city of Belarus, Salihorsk, is paid in a general merchandise department of Salihorskhandl. No comments,” Viktar Malochka writes.

We remind that in 2010 Alyaksandr Lukashenka promised that by the year 2015 Belarusians would be paid an average salary of $1000. “By the year 2015 we are to make the average salary close to $1000 in the equivalent Belarusian ruble amount,” the Belarusian dictator said then.
