Memorial picket “16 years without Hanchar and Krasouski” to be held in Minsk

A memorial picket “16 years without Hanchar and Kraaouski” will be held near GUM store in Minsk at 18:30 on September 16.

Viktar Hanchar, a member of the United Civil Party (UCP) and consistent opponent of the Lukashenka regime, and his friend Anatol Krasouski disappeared on that day 16 years ago, ucpb.org reports.

Those guilty haven't been punished yet.

Organisers didn't file an application for the picket. The picket will be held in accordance with article 35 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus (Article 35.
