Lukashenka promises to deal with Belarusians fighting in Ukraine

The dictator scares Belarusians with mythical “bandits from Ukraine”.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka said it during a visit to the Belarusian Steel Plant in Zhodzina on September 25. He noted that special attention was given to security issues on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, BelTA reports.

“Some still shout 'we are fighting there, we will come back and show everyone.' We will show them so that they will be somersaulting back to Ukraine, the Black Sea, and even further. Do not worry about it,” Lukashenka said.

“We will deal with those who fight today [in Ukraine] when they are back home. I have warned everyone. We have passed the corresponding law: if you decided to go to the war, i.e. to kill, no matter if it for Donbass or against it, you will have to answer. There are few of them, maybe 20 people. One went to the Maidan and returned in a coffin,” the dictator said.

“We are reinforcing the border. We have closed it completely. We will place such engineer installations that even a mouse will not come through. We will ensure the safety of our country,” Lukashenka emphasised.

According to him, “now we have to check all new arrivals in order to prevent bandits from entering the country, those who want to destabilize the situation in Belarus.”
