As of January 1, 2016 the state debt of Belarus equaled to Br328.6 trillion and increased by Br131.1 trillion in comparison to early 2015.

As of January 1, 2016 an external state debt made up $12.4 billion, it is $133.9 million less or 1.1% (including exchange rate difference) than in early 2015

Foreign government loans of $2 billion and 172.9 million were taken in January-December 2015: $1 billion and 571.9 million - the government and banks of Russia; $528.1 - banks of PRC; $72.9 million - IBCD.

The redemption of external state debt has equaled to $2 bln. 16.4 million since early 2015: $1 billion - eurobonds; $300 million - the government of the Russian Federation; $353.1 million - Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development; $147.7 million - banks of PRC; $75.9 million - the IMF; $115.2 million - banks of Venezuela; $20.9 million - IBRD; $3.6 million - the USA.

According to data of the Ministry of Finance, domestic state debt equaled to Br97.4 trillion as of January 1, 2016. It is Br49.1 trillion or 101.4% more than in the beginning of 2015. Numbers include the exchange rate difference.

In January-December 2015 domestic currency and ruble government bonds for legal entities and natural persons (excluding exchange operations) equaled to $2 billion and 137.5 million and Br2 trillion and 152.9 billion.

In 2015 the redemption of foreign currency and ruble government bonds for natural persons and legal entities (excluding exchange operations) equaled to $399.5 million and Br2 trillion and 465.8 billion.
