«Russians Go Home!» Rally Held In Brest

Brest residents reacted to the entry of a few hundred Russian paratroopers from Kostroma into the city with an Anti-Putin banner.

The banner was put up on the gate of the Brest 38th Air Assault Brigade, the place of the Kostroma paratroopers’ accommodation. A reader from Brest has informed charter97.org that they are to participate in large-scale joint military exercises.

The 98th Guards Airborne Division, deployed in Ivanovo and Kostroma regions, is widely known for participating in the aggression against Georgia in 2008 and the aggression against Ukraine at Donbas. It was Kostroma paratroopers, who “got lost” and were captured by the Ukrainian army in 2014.

The very appearance of such an odious military formation on the territory of Belarus can be considered as an act of aggression. And the joint exercises a few kilometers from the border with the EU are a direct challenge. It perfectly shows that the Belarusian army and Lukashenka’s regime are Putin's Russia puppets.
