Fifth Day “Freedom To Palchys!” Not To Cease At Court Building

The activists are going to hold the action all the time when the blogger is being tried.

On October 20, the Minsk city court resumed the trial of blogger Eduard Palchys, who was running the websiet 1863x under a pseudonym, Radio Svaboda informs.

Public activists, demanding to release Palchys and to stop criminal prosecution of him, continue picketing in front of the court building.

Police officers of the capital also pay their attention to the picketers. Within an hour, the police officers have drawn 8 new protocols on violation of the procedure for holding mass actions against the participants of the picket.

Protocols have been drawn against the co-chairman of the BCD organizing committee Paval Sevyarynets, the leader of “Young Front” Zmitser Dashkevich, the leader of entrepreneurs Ales Makayeu, the leader of “European Belarus” Maksim Vinyarski, the young activists Mikalai Dzemidzenka and Uladzimir Yaromenka, the opposition activists Volha Mayorava, Aliaksandr Palcheuski.

“More than 50 protocols have been drawn already during the five days of trial of Palchys. But we continue the picket. We will go on standing under the white-red-white flags, chanting “Freedom to Palchys!” and “Freedom to Political Prisoners!” – Makayeu told.
