$4 To Be Added Up To Belarusians’ Nursing Benefits For Children Under 3

The nursing benefits for the parents on maternity leave will be slightly raised since November 1.

The sums for payment will grow by Bn 7,87 to 10,12, depending on the number of children in a family.

The benefits for the parents who are on maternity leave are reviewed on a quarterly basis. Their amounts depend on the average monthly salary in the preceding three months. If the salary for the period decreased, the allowance for a child under three years do not increase, and remains at the same level.

In July-September, the average salary in Belarus increased to Bn 743,6. This is Bn 22,5 more than in the second quarter.

Thus, the nursing benefit for the first child will increase by Bn 7,87, for the second and subsequent children – by Bn 9, and for a disabled child – up to Br 10,12, tut.by writes.

The new level of benefits will be valid until February 1 next year.

On November 1, the budget of a living wage, which also determines the amount of the one-time payment for the birth of a child, will also change since November 1.
