Lukashenka Urged To Join Military-Political Union Of Belarus And Russia

The dictator called “the Union of Belarus and Russia” an example of deep integration for the rest of the CIS countries.

Lukashenka said that during the meeting with the heads of governmental delegations of the Eurasian Economic Union and the CIS, BelTA informs.

Lukashenka noted that the CIS “is a good platform for dialogue and negotiation, solving tactical problems.” The Eurasian Economic Union provides for “deep economic integration.”

“The integration within the Union of Belarus and Russia is even deeper. It serves as an example and a model,” – the dictator said. He added that, when establishing the Eurasian Economic Union, the countries draw on many of the Belarusian-Russian agreements.

“If someone is willing to move from an economic union to a closer economic military and political union within the union of Belarus and Russia, the treaty is open,” – Lukashenka noticed.
