Police Carried Out “Masked-Men Show” For Chief Of Minskenergo

Employees of the Department for fighting against Economic crimes of the Minsk District Office of Internal Affairs brutally detained a corrupt official.

To be exact – the chief of one of the branches of the RUE Minskenergo.

Press officer of the Minsk District Office of Internal Affairs Yulia Lobach reported about the detention.

The suspect, using his position, received a $ 1,000 bribe. In return he had to push for the endorsement work on laying a backup cable from a transformer substation to a boiler building in Minsk region, Belsat reports.

The man was arrested in the act. A criminal case under part 1, art. 430 of the Criminal Code of Belarus was opened against him. The article provides for up to seven years in prison. Now other facts of illegal activities of the suspect are being investigated.
