Mikalai Statkevich: Opposition Is To Unite No Matter What

Members of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party Executive Bureau unanimously shouted support for the rally on the occasion of the anti-constitutional coup 20th anniversary.

The Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Narodnaya Hramada) leader Mikalai Statkevich wrote that on his Facebook page.

The rally will start in the Freedom Square in Minsk at 18.00 on November 24.

Also, the Executive Bureau, which includes the heads of the party regional organizations, supported the decision of Rada of the Belarusian National Congress to continue forming the regional coalition of democratic forces, without paying attention to the attempts of some parties’ leadership to disrupt the unification process.

The Bureau agreed to intensify Narodnaya Hramada’s work on consolidation of democratic forces in the region.
