The 50-year-old CEO wanted to clarify the reason why the equipment wasn’t working.

CEO of manufacture at Haradzeya sugar factory fell into a container with boiling liquid. He is alive and staying in the intensive care department in a hospital. According to non-official information, he got severe burns of about 90% of his body.

The factory’s administration does not comment on the accident. “I will not say anything for the press, you should send an official enquiry,” — Deputy Director on social issues Katsiaryna Niakliui has informed to nn.by.

According to the journalists’ information, the victim — a 50-year-old CEO of manufacture — reached out to check the reason why the equipment wasn’t working. Beet juice was boiling in the container into which the man fell.

The accident occurred at about 10 p.m. on November 24. The ambulance took the man to the local hospital first, and the next day he was transferred to the Republican Burns Center in Minsk.
