However, the leader of sole traders from Vaukavysk thinks the new provocations from the authorities will follow.

“I continue to endure psychological pressure on me, – Mikalai Autukhovich told to the web site palitviazni.info. – It certainly makes it all even more difficult as you are constantly in tension. I do not know who has started this game, but I have some assumptions on this issue.”

Let us remind that a few days ago the businessman and the former political prisoner from Vaukavysk Mikalai Autukhovich said that he did not exclude the possibility that the authorities were preparing a new provocation against him, and may be even another criminal case.

In 2010, Mikalai Autukhovich was sentenced to five years and two months imprisonment to be served in a strict-regime prison for possession of five cartridges for a hunting rifle. The most serious charges made against him were the preparation of terrorist attacks against officials and the arson of police chief’s house. The court found them proofless.

The former political prisoner does not exclude that now a new provocation could be made. “They'll find people who will provide the necessary evidence, and then I’ll have to give a reason for that,” – he doubts.

“An officer of Vaukavysk police department wants to talk to me, – Mikalai Autukhovich says. – They even phoned me at work, but they did not find me there, because I was on business in Hrodna. The policeman promised to come to my work himself, but he never arrived. After a while he phoned again and started talking about the meeting. In a word, they do not let me live in peace, and I still don’t know what they want.”

According to the businessman, it looks like psychological pressure, because if the matter was very serious, the conversation would have taken place long ago.

“When I expressed concern by the means of the media that provocations could be made against me, I think I did well, – Mikalai Autukhovich says. – The policemen probably also read the news, so now they do not know what to do. They also have to justify somehow why they examine my friends about my implication in some mythical explosives. I know that I just have nothing to do with that. But is it possible that the security forces have learned nothing from the six year old experience, when they wanted to charge me of a terrorist attack preparation, but it all fell apart with a bang at the trial? But again, there is the psychological pressure.”

Mikalai Autukhovich adds that they might want to face him down this way, to make him less active in public and political life and not come back to old cases, for which he has been convicted.
