He is charged under two articles of the Administrative Code: hooliganism and disobedience to police officers.

On April 21, the Tsentralny district court of Minsk continued hearing of the administrative case against the leader of the solidarity movement "Razam" Viachaslau Siuchyk, Radio Svaboda reports.

The first court session on this case took place on April 19. On that day, the court sent the protocols drawn against Siuchyk back to the Tsentralny district police department for revision.

On April 20, police officers ambushed Viachaslau Siuchyk in the stairwell of his house once again and handed him a copy of the new protocols and a summons for a hearing on April 21.

TV crews of state television were present at the hearings. However, Siuchyk requested to postpone the hearing, because his lawyer had gone on a business trip. Judge Viktorya Shabunya satisfied the request and rescheduled the meeting on May 3.

“I have committed no administrative offenses and this case is politically motivated. However, the authorities want to turn it into a case of "hooliganism", therefore they are in such a hurry,” – Siuchyk said.
