Mechyslau Hryb: Speaker Doesn’t Believe In What He Is Talking About
Mechyslau Hryb

And he cannot prevent others from seeing it.

According to charter97.org, former Chairman of the Supreme Council, Police Lieutenant General Mechyslau Hryb wrote about this in Facebook.

“First impression.

The journalists have already named the recent message of Aliaksandr Lukashenka to the parliament and the nation, the shortest one of the previous 20. And this is really so. But apart from that, to mi mind, it sounded as if lacking some fire, enthusiasm and oratory spark.

There’s a feeling that the speaker himself doesn’t believe in what he is talking about. And he cannot prevent others from seeing it. But earlier an impression was created that he sincerely believed in the populist projects and spells he was announcing”, – the message informs.

Let us remind that Lukashenka addressed the Belarusian nation and the parliament on 21 April. The Belarusian dictator divided his speech in two parts: he devoted 1.5 hours to address the people and then he spent 2 hours and 40 minutes answering deputies' questions behind the close doors. Lukashenka has two truths about the state of things in the country - one for the people, and the other - for the “deputies”, designated by him. As predicted, Lukashenka did not dare to talk about specific plans, at least he didn’t dare to do that openly.
