Prosecutor General on Shunevich's "Professional Revenge": It's His Personal Matter

Aliaksandr Kanyuk considers remarks of Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Ihar Shunevich about the "professional revenge" of traffic policemen to bikers a personal matter.

"I cannot comment on utterances of my colleague (Shunevich - editor's note) about professional revenge, it his personal matter," the Prosecutor General informed journalists answering the question on Shunevich's remarks towards personal revenge of traffic police officers to bikers.

After a heinous traffic accident in Minsk with a biker and a traffic police officer, bikers started informing about seizures of bikes. According to traffic police, bikes could be delivered to a pound because of serious violations or absence of a driving licence.

Last week the Minister if Internal Affairs Ihar Shunevich, in his turn, while answering questions of journalists, conceded revenge on the part of traffic police.

Last Sunday Shunevich participated in an opening of the biker season in Minsk. He drove Harley-Davidson. According to him, a special motor-unit of the traffic police will use them.
