“Orsha 1991” Movie Depicts Railway Blockade By Workers

The events that happened in Orsha on April 24-26, 1991 remain unique in the contemporary history of Belarus.
On April 24-26, 1991 the workers who protested against the prices growth and the ruling Communist party of the USSR blocked the railway communications.
The center for the Belarusian civil society research collected the memories of participants and eye-witnesses of the events, that have become the basis of the movie.
