Ivan Not Made It Through To Eurovision Final

Belarusian singer Ivan hasn’t made it through to the Eurovision final with the song “Help me fly”.

The second semi-final of the international song contest Eurovision-2016 was held in Stockholm. Representatives of Latvia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Australia, Ukraine, Serbia, Poland, Israel, Lithuania, Belgium won in the second semi-final.

The final competition is to be held in the evening on May 14. The representatives of 26 countries are taking part in it.

The representatives of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Austria, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Malta, Russia, Croatia, Czech Republic won in the first semi-final.

Belarusians are taking part in the Eurovision contest for the 12th time, but they made it through to the finals only four times (Dzmitry Kaldun, 2007, the 6th place; “3 + 2” project, 2010, the 24th, Alena Lanskaya, 2013, the 16th ; Tea, in 2014, the 16th).

In 2009 a Norwegian of Belarusian origin Aliaksandr Rybak won the Eurovision contest with the absolute record of 387 points.
