Paval Seviarynets: There Are Secret Agreements Between Kremlin and Lukashenka

It is highly important for Putin for Belarus to remain in the sphere of influence of Russian militarists.

It has been said in an interview to Radio Racyja by a co-chairman of the organizing committee for creation of the Belarusian Christian Democratic Party Paval Seviarynets, who commented on the visit to Belarus of Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

– The moves of the current Russified leadership of Belarus are just trading for next credits. It is highly important for Putin for Belarus to remain in the sphere of influence of Russia’s militarists, Russian external policy, Russian language and culture. And they are doing everything that depends on them. I think that secret agreements had taken place between the Kremlin and Lukashenka regarding hindering development of the Belarusian language and culture here by Lukashenka.

We remind that Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is on a two-day visit in Belarus.
