The founder of the shelter for homeless was required to pay the registration fee for all the shelter inhabitants.

The BCD press service reported that to charter97.org.

A representative of the department of Citizenship and Migration of Shchuchyn district police department visited the charity shelter for homeless in Alexandrovka village, kept by the Catholic believer Aliaksei Shchadrou, and demanded that all the residents of the shelter were registered in the place of their residence. The police officer threatened that there would be a fine of 4 basic units charged against the shelter, if by the time of the next visit the homeless still had no registration. Registration of each of the homeless will cost BR 105 thousand. “Where can I get such amount of money, if sometimes the shelter inhabits as many as 25 people?” – Aliaksei Shchadrou wonders.

Otherwise, the police officer said, the homeless should go to a night shelter in Hrodna, as they don’t belong here.

Aliaksei Shchadrou also informed that the chairman of the village council comes every Thursday to inspect the conditions of life, condition of the wiring and heating in the shelter. “It has never been before that the inspection comes on Thursdays,” – he added.
