Homel Caretakers Forced Scrub Street Before Foreign Delegation Passed

Caretakers were cleaning away fallen leaves and branches from the sidewalks under the pouring rain.

Homel residents could observe an unusual picture in Kirava Street on Friday. A lot of caretakers were brought there by cars to clean the sidewalks under the heavy rain. As an eyewitness told kp.by, at about noon on several dozens of caretakers were working on a small section of Kirava Street, cleaning sidewalks of fallen leaves and branches after heavy rain and wind.

After about an hour it became clear what was going on, when a cortege followed along Kirava Street, accompanied by the traffic police. There were some vans and passenger cars with diplomatic plates. Apparently, foreign delegations participating in the Homel Economic Forum, which took place on May 20, were passing to the center from another part of the city.
