Minsk outruns Warsaw, Budapest, Bucharest, Vilnius and Madrid with regard to sales areas provision.

Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Andrei Shorats said this on May 30 at the city assembly of the authorized officials of the V All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, Solidarity writes.

This statement made by the head of the city vertical induced irony of the Belarusians who left their comments at the ground talks.by:

— Does it outrun Monte Carlo as for rental prices?

—Who needs so many sales areas with such level of life? The majority of people live below the poverty line.

— As for senselessness of these areas, Minsk probably gets the first place in the world!

— Very soon, these areas will be used for rented accommodation facilities and hostels.
