The investigating authorities have agreed to hear the case against the Director of the Department of refereeing and inspection Andrei Zhukau.

The criminal case against the director of the Department of refereeing and inspection of “Belarusian Football Federation” has been passed to the Minsk Department of the Investigative Committee of Belarus for further investigation, official Minsk Investigative Committee representative Aleksei Klimovich told BelaPAN.

According to him, at the time the materials of the criminal case were passed to the investigating authorities, the suspect had been already detained.

We remind that on June 7, Andrei Zhukau was arrested in his office by employees of the Interior Ministry's Economic-Crimes Department of the Minsk Executive Committee, together with employees of the Interior Ministry's Economic-Crimes Department of the Maskouski Police Department of the capital on suspicion of taking bribes.
