Deputy Minister of housing and public utilities Anatol Shahun was relieved of his position "in connection with an act which does not comply with his position."

It is approved by decision No. 455 from June 13, 2016 and is published on the National Legal Internet Portal, tut.by reports.

"It is decided to relieve Anatol Shahun of the position of deputy minister of housing and public utilities of the Republic of Belarus in connection with an act which does not comply with the position," the document says.

Anatol Shahun is not in the list of employees on the site of the ministry. Nevertheless, on June 15 he still took part as a deputy minister at the conference devoted to a public waste, organized by the SB-Belarus Segodnya.

The ground for dismissal is not specified.

It should be reminded that on May 4 the Investigative Committee informed about completion of investigation of the criminal case against six members of the housing and utility service, as well as the deputy minister, his name was not mentioned. Deputy Minister was accused of official misconduct.

It is informed that one of enterprises of the ministry failed to fulfill research-engineering programme on development and production assimilation of manufacturing equipment which resulted into additional expenditures of Br861 million.

"Trying to conceal facts of inefficient and unfounded use of budget fund and lack of control for implementation of the state programme, the deputy minister organized signing of willful false documentation on implementation of the programme. It provided for non-implementation of work and no need to return of money used with the violation of legislation," the Investigative Committee said.

Investigation was initiated in 2013 and completed in March 2016.

The case with rent bills is still urgent. Lukashenka ordered to put on cuffs on guilty people. Information about initiation of criminal cases against bureaucrats in the housing sphere was received.

In early April during the meeting with journalists Leanid Anfimau informed that 7 people were detained "on housing and utility case". In his words, they are accused of official misconduct and so on. He mentioned that "tariffs provided did not comply with normative acts."
