Do you know why the situation in the country is so bad?

Instead of listening to optimistic speeches of authorities at the regular meeting, you surf the Internet and read independent media. As soon as it stops, there shall be peace.

At least this is the opinion of state media which discussed the "All-Belarusian Assembly" on air of Club of Editors. However, most talks were devoted not to the event itself, but to independent mass media which try to blacken the celebration and "to make a very important event useless".

Let us not discuss the importance of the event, which somehow turned to be "useless" by the scratch of a pen of "newspapers read by no one". The other thing is curious. It turned out that "anti-state media" are to blame for people's opinion about the crisis in the country.

- People lived in the atmosphere having read numerous articles, especially on the Internet, that the situation was pretty bad in the country," Uladzimir Pertsou, director of the representative office of Mir TV and radio company in Belarus, described the situation before the "All-Belarusian Assembly". - After the arrival at the Assembly and listening to the President's speech and people at places, people there formed an opinion that the situation was not as bad as it used to be presented.

This is the source of true information about the situation in the country! Due to the All-Belarusian Assembly people know the truth!

No thanks to prices in stores which now desolate purses at the speed of light. No thanks to miserable salaries which are not enough even for food. And even no thanks to rent bills with their breathtaking tariffs. Wrong newspapers wrote about it and naive people believed that something was wrong in the country.

The editors' conclusion is a genius one: do not read and you will know nothing about the crisis.

— They rushed to discuss gifts: they allegedly fiddle while Rome is burning. What? If you do not read some periodicals then you have no idea what global difficulties they are talking about, editor of SB Pavel Yakubovich stated.

Well, why should anyone know about "global difficulties"? Just take a look at the public media - only positive picture of the world. All enterprises constantly work, best employees speak of future success, high salaries which can cause envy of every European! And it does not matter that while breaks between high speeches the editor of the SB takes a journalist of Radio Svaboda by her elbow fearing that the talk with her may leave teachers jobless.

The main thing is that everyone now knows that everything is fine. It looks like heaven, only if to ignore the TV and do not look around.
